Now I admit I was lazy and just left the burdock leaves on the grass near the newly planted rhubarb. So on Monday Barb saw the burdock leaves and thought that they were rhubarb and she planted them all nicely around the real rhubarb plant. An easy mistake .. they do look similar. She really meant well. She is really supportive of my diet and was just trying to help out. I appreciate the effort but I appreciated the laugh even more!
Welcome to my blog about my 2nd journey on the 100 metre diet. I will only eat food that I grow, forage, raise and butcher on our 4.5 acre property. The only products that I am allowing myself to buy are salt, cheese culture and rennet. Everything else is up to me.

Tell Barb not to feel bad, I might have done the same thing. But you know my gardening skills having seen my tomato plants! By the way, they look like they're going to pull through (well some of them) but I will be shocked if I see an actual tomato this year! I hope your garden is doing well. Please do update on your food adventures.
